Red Roses of Passion

1966

Joanna Mills played something of a type in her movies, as a naturally attractive woman, given to certain vices belied by her innocent good looks.  That is certainly the case in Red Roses of Passion, where she, June Roberts and the wonderfully built, Helena Clayton, walk around in transparent garb as members of a woman’s cult.  She is the smallest of the three but nothing at all to sneeze at.

Art School for Nudists

In Art School for Nudists, Helena, Sharon Kent and an unknown actress play nudists who, well, study art and practice drawing.  One another.  Nude.

Sharon Kent

The subject of Sharon Kent brings us right back to Doris Wishman, because Doris cast her as a central character in two movies.

Indecent Desires

Indecent Desires has Sharon Kent play a psycho loner’s unwitting object of affection.  By some means, the loner turns a discarded Barbie doll into something of a voodoo-like icon, so that what he does to the doll winds up happening to Sharon.  Weird shit, I know, but that’s what drives the story.

Sharon is nude from the very beginning of the movie to its bitter end.  And she is made up to look very much like a doll.  Ms Wishman seemed quite enamored of Sharon’s rumpus – who the hell can blame her – so we get to see it and her other charms very frequently.

 

A second character played by Jackie Richards also strips down early and often.  BTW, you will notice in this movie and in others by Wishman, that she never met a mirror she didn’t like.  I, for one cannot think of a single movie of hers that fails to use a mirror to show off some gal’s assets.

Too Much Too Often

In a second Wishman movie, Too Much Too Often, Sharon Kent plays a student who has fallen for a soulless, shameless gigolo/pimp.  She is topless in one scene and nude in another, which means we get another long look at her behind.

Joining Sharon in the exposure department is Jackie Richards, again ...

and the one near-constant presence in Wishman’s movie, Darlene Bennett.

Yolanda Signorelli also appears late in Too Much Too Often as a hooker who loves the gigolo/pimp, even though he finds her disgusting.  Really?  Why?  How?  One might describe Ms. Signorelli’s cleavage in units of acreage, which makes her limited exposure in this movie rather annoying.

Did she, could she have been more thoroughly exposed in some other movie? 

Cool It Baby

Indeed she could, indeed she did, in Cool It Baby, where she plays – this is going to be a shock – a nude model.  Thanks to Tuna, we can see the results: they are real and they are spectacular.
