Oz's Australia Day Special
Monday, 26 January, is Australia Day.
The 70s were the prime years for movie and television nudity in
Australia. You'll also notice some names appear over again. I am
still waiting for some of the good shows and movies to come out
on DVD. However, we have to make do.

Stone
Stone (1974) was a bikie movie, based on a bikie gang in Sydney. The
director's commentary is interesting and enables some identification.
The main nudity comes from a skinny dip. Rebecca Gilling and Jude
Matthews are completely naked, as are a couple of unidentified.
Victoria Anoux is topless when losing strip poker. Helen Morse and
Sue Lloyd and an unnamed woman provide some eye candy.

Don's Party
Don's Party (1976) is another well-known Aussie movie. Candy Raymond
and Clare Binney are completely naked, and Veronica Lang is topless.

Number 96
Number 96 (1970s) was a soap that, unlike most modern soaps, had
plenty of nudity. The caps from this show are mainly from a couple of
TV specials that contained clips of the show. This made some
identification difficult. Full nakedness came form Nostalgia Mason
(yes, that really is her name, or at least her pseudonym in her only
IMDB credit) and Deborah Gray. The rest of the women, Cathy Jones,
Charne Marshall, Elaine Lee, Frances Hargreaves, Lorrae Desmond,
Robyn Gurney, Susannah Piggott, Suzanne Church, Vicki Raymond, Wendy
Hughes and some I couldn't identify are partially clothed.

Number 96 - The Movie
Number 96 - The Movie (1974) is a mediocre TV movie based on the
soap. Unfortunately, the quality is not very good. Rebecca Gilling is
totally naked, Elaine Lee is topless and Lynn Rainbow shows some
see-through pokies.

Alvin Purple
Alvin Purple was irresistible to women and Alvin Purple (1973) is the
movie of his early days. Plenty of naked women, including Lynette
Curran, Kris McQuade, Elke Neidhart, Anne Pendlebury, Debbie
Nankervis, Shara Berriman, Jacki Weaver. Partially dressed or eye
candy are Abigail, Christine Amor, Jenny Hagen, Elli Maclure, Penne
Hackforth-Jones and some unidentified women.

Alvin Purple Rides Again
Alvin Purple Rides Again (1974) was the sequel, which was by no means
as good. It did, however, still have a lot of naked women, including
Candy Raymond, Chantal Contouri, Judy Stevenson, Joy Thompson and
Kris McQuade. The eye candy comes from Abigail, Arna-Maria
Winchester, Briony Behets, Debbie Nankervis, Dina Mann, Penne
Hackforth-Jones and some unidentified women.

Floodhouse
Moving forward to the 21st century and Aussie movies lost their sense
of humour and started to become too serious. Fortunately, there is
still some nudity. In Floodhouse (2003) has a topless Catherine
McClements and a see-through Victoria Thaine.

Jewboy
Jewboy (2005) has a Imelda Damayanthi as a topless stripper and Inga
Novak briefly flashes a breast.

Suburban Mayhem
Emily Barclay is topless in Suburban Mayhem (2006), and
a movie is included.

West
West (2007) is set in the lower socio-economic area of western
Sydney. Gillian Alexy and Blazey Best are topless and Yael Stone
shows a lot of leg.

False Witness
False Witness (2008) is an Aussie co-production. Although the most
high profile actress who is topless, Claire Forlani, is not the only
one to get her gear off. Alin Sumarwata, Anita Hegh and some
unidentified strippers and prostitutes are also topless.

Mark Loves Sharon
Mark Loves Sharon (2008) was a 6 part TV series, which was supposed
to be partially based on a well-known Australian cricketer who had
trouble keeping his pants on. It was also supposed to be funny - it
wasn't. No nudity but plenty of bikini-clad eye candy by Abby Meates,
Kylie Gulliver, Saskia Hamapele and some that weren't identified.

Aussie Bonus
Scoop's notes:
What does the rest of the world think of when they hear the word "Australia"?
Didgeridoos? Boomerangs? Kangaroos? Crocodile Dundee? The Aboriginals? Akubra Hats?
Foster's? Maybe,
but I submit that when playing Family Feud, the "things that come from
Australia" answers would include Elle "The Body" MacPherson
You can see here that she's still looking incredibly good for however freakin'
old she is. She admits to 44, so I suppose she's probably 70 or something, but
you have to wonder whether she realized that her public hair was visible in
these. Also, you might be able to see a hint of labia
in #2. She's really our kind of gal!
Did you know her birth name is Eleanor "The Body" Gow? Most people think "The
Body" is a nickname, but her parents named her after their hero, Jesse Ventura.
Oh, I know Jess was only 12 at the time, but the Gows knew he was going to be
big.
