Jacqueline Bisset, and
... |
The Deep.
'Nuff said. The most famous wet t-shirt
in the history of wet t-shirts, a
reasonable bit of plot, exciting
underwater scenes, and Jacqueline Bisset
in her prime. Now that's entertainment.
Here's some wet t-shirt action.

Here Bisset takes off the t-shirt
entirely, and at least this one frame
shows a nipple from the side-rear angle.
|
The Deep. No
nudity, although you can see her nipples
outlined under a white dress. This frame
exists for only one reason. Just in case
there may be one or two of you out there
that don't think Bisset was all that good
lookin'. Take a deep breath before you
look at this one, pards, because she is
breathtaking.

Here's
Bisset's other famous nude scene. In this
one, there was more than suggestion. She
got really naked. "Secrets",
from BFD. I couldn't find any
justification for his spelling her first
name as "Jacquelline". Her real
full name is Winifred (or Winnifred -
sources spell it both ways) Jacqueline
Fraser-Bisset. She has performed as
Jacqueline or Jacky. She's 54 now, and
still pretty darned sexy last time I saw
her.
|
"Secrets".
|
"Secrets".
Only a hint of nudity in this one.
|
This is only
peripherally related. It is not Jacky
Bisset, but Josie Bissett (two t's), in
"Hitcher 2", from MacHero.
Linda
Fiorentino, and ....
|
Linda
Fiorentino in "Jade". If you'll
look at the frame carefully, you'll see
that one breast is also visible, in the
reflection.
|
Linda
Fiorentino in "Jade". Large
frame, very sexy. This movie's plot is
complete gobbledegook, but it's sexy and
beautifully photographed. William
Friedkin is a competent director
(Exorcist, French Connection), and he did
what he could with this material. Miss
Fiorentino is famous for "MIB",
and respected for "The Last
Seduction", but this is some of her
more obscure work.
|
Linda
Fiorentino in "Jade". From the
evidence tape. This movie solved the
age-old problem of the mystery genre.
Normally, any intelligent filmgoer can
figure these things out in a few minutes.
In this one, the scriptwriter overcame
that obstacle in three ways. (1) By
having the original murder committed by
someone who could not have done it,
because of other things revealed in the
movie, and by never explaining how that
could be so. (2) By completely failing to
explain who did the other murders. In the
case of Angie Everhart, for example, only
three people knew where she was going to
be when she was killed. Caruso (the good
guy), Angie herself (the victim), and
another cop who took the message (minor
character unrelated to the murders). Huh?
(3) By throwing in completely irrelevant
scenes with anonymous characters, to
leave the audience totally baffled. I think
you'll see everything clearly when I tell
you that Joe Eszterhas wrote the movie.
He established himself as a hot
screenwriting property after "Basic
Instinct". Since then, he has turned
out junk like this thing,
"Sliver",
"Showgirls", and "Burn
Hollywood Burn".
|
Linda
Fiorentino in "Jade". From the
photographic evidence. Too bad that
Fiorentino was wasted in this movie,
because she was sexy and as cool and
competent as ever.
|
Just a body
double, but a scene beautifully
photographed. (Angie Everhart's Body
Double, as it turns out. Angie couldn't
get naked because Mickey Rourke was not
available to watch.)
|
one more of
Angie's body double and David Caruso.
Junior and I have ragged this guy plenty
for his non-existent movie career, but
the truth is that he has done fine every
time I've seen him. He's perfectly
competent, if a bit charisma-challenged.
The reason for his career misfire is
simply because he just wasn't the flavor
of the day. With a slightly different
roll of the dice, he might have become a
movie star.

Lescan seems
to be competing for the Scanman Trophy
for vidcapping output. He sent a bunch
more today, and you'll see plenty below,
elsewhere in the weekend edition. How's
this for a catch? Julia Louis-Dreyfuss in
"Troll", and at least one of
those frames (bottom left), although
blurry, has to be her, not a body double.
I'd guess the whole scene is really
Dreyfus. In 1986 her career was not
really at a point where she could ask for
a body double.

Our man in
Hungary
|
Kata Dobo in
"Out of Order". This is one
beautiful woman. The film producer Andrew
J. Vajna (Angel Heart, Jacob's Ladder,
Nixon, Evita) has a soft spot in his
heart for his native Hungary, still
spends some time there, and still
produces a Hungarian film now and then.
He had a hand in this one, "Out of
Order", the top Hungarian comedy of
1997, and one of the rare Magyar films to
receve some international exposure. Mr.
Vajna gave his star, Kata Dobo, a car
when the filming was over, just because
she did a good job. Really. Our man in
Budapest thinks that they really were not
involved. I think she should get a car
just for doing this scene, where she
shows her breasts to Jerry Springer. Man,
that Springer really gets around.
|
Here's Kata
in a sheer blouse. She sure looks a lot
like Nicole Kidman in this one.

Our man in
Flanders
|
I'm a bit
disappointed in you boys. Despite my
constant recommendations, there are still
a few of you that haven't subscribed to
the Flemish option with your cable ops.
Have no fear, because our Northern
Belgian corrspondant will catch you up on
everything you missed. The first set is
Pascale Bal from a 1998 movie "Le
Bal Masque". This film is about the
famous "Gang of Nivelles",
which caused public terror in the mid
eighties with a series of brutal
supermarket robberies. They never got
more than a couple thousand dollars per
incident, but nonetheless managed to kill
two or three dozen people along the way,
and were never caught. Many people claim
that there was a political cover-up.
Every investigator that started to get
close to the truth was removed from the
case. The film assumes that there was a
cover-up. Warning: All of the caps in
this section were made from photographs
of the screen, so they are somewhat
primitive. If this boither you, skip to
the next section.
|
Pascale Bal
from a "Le Bal Masque". Pascale
is also a presenter for TV1.
|
This is Anne
Cuervels, from the series "Niet voor
publicatie", which you would be
watching right now if you had the
all-Flemish option. Another capper,
Flurk, previously did some vidcaps of her
in "Diamant", and she is now
starring in "Thuis" on VRT TV1.
According to our anonymous correspondant,
she is now on top of the a-list in the
heirarchy of Flemish stars.

Sabine De
Vos, from the closing credits of a show
on VTM, a commercial network in Flanders.
Frankly, not much is showing here, but
she doesn't show the goods anyway.
However I do have an interesting story
for you. Sabine is a respectable TV
presenter and the author of a children's
book. When she was still a student, she
posed for the Dutch edition of Playboy.
They never used the pictures at that
time, but after she became famous,
Playboy wanted to publish the pictures.
She sued them to prevent it, and she won.
Although the letter of the law appeared
to be completely on Playboy's side, the
Belgian courts bent the law a bit to stop
"the evil Hugh Hefner", as her
lawyer publicly declaimed. Not only was
Playboy Netherlands forbidden to publish
the pictures, but they had to destroy
them under the supervision of an officer
of the Belgian court. Can you imagine
this happening between Canada and the US?
If a Canadian official came over the
border to supervise the action of a
Canadian court against an American
company on American property. (1) If he
dared to enter Playboy's property, he
would be beaten senseless by nationalist
lunatics (2)If he was still alive, and
dared to go to the police, American law
officers would not pursue the thugs, but
would arrest him for the action of
illegally trespassing on private
property. (3) If Canada protested, the US
would either drop a nuclear bomb on
Ottawa, or deport Robert Goulet. That
Belgian official can thank heaven the
Netherlands is such a civilized country.

Here's
Genevieve Bujold's shower scene in
"Coma". She was a promising
youngster, only 26, after her
Oscar-nominated performance as Anne
Boleyn in "Anne of the Thousand
Days". At that time, she had already
won an Emmy nomination for an
English-language role in "Saint
Joan", and had made several films in
the French language (she is from Quebec).
Her subsequent career, although it
included several high points, never
seemed to live up to the burden of her
enormous early successes. She turns 57
this year.

|
Melanie Good

|
Monique
Gabrielle in "The Rosebud Beach
Hotel". I think Monique may be my
favorite performer. When actresses appear
on talk shows, they always say they might
consider a nude scene if it is integral
and necessary to the film (as if they
were Pauline Friggin' Kael, and were
capable of such analysis. I'd love to
hear Carmen Electra explain to Stanley
Kubrick why a nude scene is not integral
to one of his movies). On the other hand,
Monique always does do a nude scene, and
these scenes are never necessary, except
maybe in "Amazon Women on the
Moon", in which she played a woman
who is always naked. In every other case,
the scenes are there to show Monique
naked. This, to me, is justification
aplenty.

Francesca Neri in "Outrage".
She plays kind of a female Charles

Madrid. She's a circus sharpshooter who
is raped by some young guys and exacts
her revenge. If you want to watch it,
don't get the dubbed version. Watch it in
Spanish if you can, or Spanish with
subtitles. The dubbing is terrible in the
English version. This cap was her only

If

And this lady, Nasty Kinski, is our Orson

exactly comparable to Paradise Lost in

very suitable plot for creating plenty of

Lots of

every possible frame of nudity featuring
actress Laure Marsac. The French actress
has a great body, and several film

English. Perhaps our Euro Scoopy fans are
more familiar with her.
|
Scoop Sr. and
I were just discussing the worst
assembled cast awards again. These 'caps
remind me that just about any movie with
Antonio Bandaras is an automatic nominee.
(Scoop's note: To get some scenes for my
male nudity site, I have been watching
some of Banderas' pre-fame movies, and I
have been impressed by his range and
authenticity. His current persona, with
one macho facial expression, jaw set
resolutely, is actually an aberration in
an otherwise creditable career. I guess
we can blame Hollywood for forcing him
into a certain mold.)
