  • Junk movies with Johnny Web
  • Anthony Perkins dressed in drag again, and crazier than ever! That's part of the fun of "Crimes of Passion". As a sex-crazed lunatic who masks himself as a preacher in the red light district, Perkins probably turned in his lifetime high energy performance. Of course, that isn't what we came to see. Here's Kathleen Turner as China Blue, her character's night-time alter ego. (The story: afraid of sex and commitment, of loving or being loved, a successful designer acts out her fantasies for real by hiding behind a disguise as a streetwalker. When she is China Blue, she is completely in control.)
  • Turner as China Blue, with her "boy scout", the guy who eventually drags out her other personality. Breast close-up.
  • Various action with John Laughlin and China Blue.
  • Kind of a glamorous pose on her back.
  • The limo scene. China Blue hops into a limo with a high rolling couple with snooty manners.
  • Turner. China Blue discarded, the designer brought out, making love as herself.
  • Close up of Turner as the designer.
  • Janice Renney as the stripper who dances for the peephole crowd.
  • Janice Renney, harmed, we are led to believe, by Perkins.
  • More Turner
  • The Night also did some Turner work this week, this time in Body Heat. You'll like the way he captured the colors in this presentation.

  • Blackshine is one of the best vidcappers I have seen. He works very hard to het his images sharp, and the colors true-to-life, but what I like best is the cinematic way he lays out his vidcaps, combining nudes with non-nudes to create a new visual work with a separate life. He puts the story's chronology in secondary importance, and focuses on the visual beauty of the new image. Here's Katya Woywood in Verfuehrt, a German TV thriller.

  • Slartibartfast also took a look at Katja last week. Here are some more of Miss Woywood. I enjoy the fact that these two guys (Blackshine and Slartibartfast) have a somewhat different approach. Slartibartfast takes a linear story-telling approach. His 'caps attempt to recreate the story of the scene being captured. It is possible to view each one of his works as a storyboard, and re-create exactly what happened in the scene.

  • Slartibartfast also chimed in with Monika Schwartz in "Der ganz normale Wahnsinn".
  • Jedilein also took a shot at Katja Woywood, also with outstanding success.
  • Caprice
  • Caprice (Bourett). This supermodel stuff is more in Junior's line of expertise, but if I understand correctly, these are vidcaps and publicity shots from Caprice's "video calendar". And she has black hair, and I wouldn't even have known who it was, and I have no idea how to use a video calendar. "Say, honey, when do you want to take that trip to Montreal?" "I don't know if the 23rd is a Friday or a Saturday, let me consult my video calendar". This would be an excellent way to get Elya to let me watch sleazy videos - just checking the date, time and temperature. "Sure, Elya, look, you can even tell the time. Her right leg is on the three and her left leg is on the seven. Well, it was on the seven until he thrust harder."

  • Mongoose
  • If you are a true aficionado of b-celebs in T&A movies, then Mongoose is your kinda guy. What better way to start than with a woman I like to think of as the "designated nude scene", Monique Gabrielle, in "Bachelor Party".
  • Angela Aames in "H.O.T.S".
  • Angela Aames in "H.O.T.S".
  • Barbie Benton in "Deathstalker". Another of Barbie's performances undeservedly snubbed by the academy.
  • Barbie Benton in "Deathstalker". How could the Oscar committee not create a category for best shirt-removal. Isn't that just as important to fimmmaking as a key grip? (and could earn Monique Gabrielle one of those lifetime achievement awards.)
  • Lana Clarkson in "Deathstalker". .
  • Lana Clarkson in "Deathstalker". I have to re-rent "Deathstalker". I know I must have seen it, but I can't remember one thing about it.

  • Miscellaneous
  • Various actresses at the SAG awards, from the infinitely compassionate Ganesha.
  • more of the same from the elephantine one.
  • from Freakie 2: Adriana Sklenarikova at the 1999 Cesar Awards. (French equivalent of the Academy Awards)
  • Well, look who's still around - The Anonymous Guy, my first contributor ever, and king of the Hyphen Worlds (made-for-cable and straight-to-vid). Looks like his cable is still working. Here's Christy Canyon, looking like - well, age and gravity do take their toll.
  • Sherrie Rose in "Devil in the Flesh"
  • GR comes in with some vidcaps from one of the worst movies ever made: Pia Zadora in "The Lonely Lady". One can't describe this movie, and if I tried you'd think I was exaggerating. Dopey script from a sleazy novel. Inept acting. Implausible behavior from several characters. Everybody associated with it should hide their heads in shame. Worth a quick watch just to see Zadora's two famous speeches - one as a high school senior, one accepting an Oscar. You'll howl with laughter at some dramatic scenes. I haven't smoked dope in years, but if I still did, I'd fire up a doobie and watch it right now.
