(2014)
Johnny's
comments:
The
Unwanted is a drama where
Carmilla (Christen Orr)
lands on the doorstep of
father Troy (William Katt)
and his daughter Laura
(Hannah Fierman) asking
questions about the mother
she never knew who
apparently stayed at in
the trailer on their land.
Troy tells her that he has
never heard of, but that
is most definitely not
true. While Carmilla waits
for information about her
mother's death, Laura
decides to befriend
Carmilla, much to the
chagrin of her father who
wants nothing to do with
Carmilla, but he allows it
as long as she believes
his lies about Carmilla's
mother. But, Laura works
out that her now deceased
mother had a relationship
with Carmilla's mother and
this leads to her pursuing
Carmilla, but their
relationship is
unconventional, almost
vampiric. As Laura and
Carmilla become very
close, Troy becomes more
unhinged, spinning more
lies about Carmilla's
mother and attempting to
find out more about their
relationship and Troy will
do anything to keep his
daughter to himself.
OK drama that strangely
minimises the vampire
angle for some reason and
turns it into a bizarre
lust for blood. But apart
from that, the movie is
interesting enough to get
by plus it has a bit of
soft lesbian action which
helps keep interest.
