"The Hot Spot"
The Hot Spot (1990) Was done and reviewed by both Scoop and me some time ago, and both reviews are available in the archives. Because my images were rather weak the first time around, and the fact that best actress Jennifer Connelly appeared topless in clear light, I decided to give it another shot. This time through, I was able to get more of the dark butt shots of Virginia Madsen.
For those too lazy to click on the above link, it is a slow paced noir thriller set in a small Texas towon, that Scoop and I both found slow. C-.

"Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell"
"Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell" (2001) is a direct to vid, but not a bad genre film. It is a horror thriller set in a college. An archeology student unleashes the Wishmaster, an ancient Persian demon. If the Wishmaster can get her to make three wishes, hell will take over the earth. Some of the effects are rather nice, the acting was decent, and the photography was good. It certainly didn't rise above the genre, but the DVD was a good transfer, and featured a feature length commentary, wherein they promise Wishmaster 4 will have even more nudity and sex.
Two female demons summoned to kill a professor appear topless. They are Ruth Dubuisson and Angela Jackson, although I have no idea which is which. Louisette Geiss shows breasts in a sex scene with her boyfriend. The IMDB score of 3.4 of 10 is probably more a grade of the genre than of this particular example. Sure the entire thing was silly and improbable. It is the sort of film that you watch in a group and make fun of, which is what the cast and crew did in the commentary. Scoop enjoyed it less than I did, and awarded a D. To me, it is a solid genre effort meant to be laughed at, so C.

MOVIES:
There is no nudity in K-PAX. I
rather liked this gentle Hollywoodesque movie with its hidden religious
allegory. It could have been a preachy piece of sap with somebody like Robin Williams in the
lead, but it seemed to work quite well with the matter-of-fact Kevin Spacey as
the Christlike figure who may be from a far more developed civilization, or who
may just be a garden variety wacko.
I kinda liked Risk, but don't
have much to add to what Tuna already said. I guess the only major disagreement
is that he felt it was an excellent genre film (C+), and I felt it was a good,
watchable genre film (C). And that's almost a coin flip depending on your mood
that day. You may think Tuna and I are dedicating too much space to Claudia
Karvan, an actress from New South Wales that you may not be familiar with. Just
think of yourself as being ahead of the power curve, because you're gonna be
asking about her May 16th, when her well formed behind appears in
Star Wars 2: Send in the Clones.

Today's "Babe in Bondage & Peril" is Ursula Andress in the 1978 flick "Slave of the Cannibal God". Ursula is stripped naked and has a gooey substance rubbed all over her body. She is then re-dressed (sadly) and re-bound for more torment. Yes, she escapes in the end.

Anyway, the obit from the Washington Post inexplicably leaves out my two favorite stories about Milton Berle:
1.The way he arranged for his teenage son to lose his virginity by hiring a hooker for him as a surprise.
2.The fact that he was famous for having the biggest wang in Hollywood. This not only helped him nail a lot more hot women than most comedians ever dream of, it also helped him win a lot of money. New members of the Friar's Club would always be boasting about how well-endowed they were, and everyone in the know would make a bet that Miltie's was bigger, then they'd go into the locker room, compare, and Miltie and his pals would collect the pigeon's money. Once when they repaired to the locker room, preparing to
pluck an overconfident newcomer, Red Buttons (I think I was) said to Berle, "Just take out enough to win."
No wonder he was confident enough in his masculinity to wear a dress on TV in the 1950s.

Pregnant Kate Sneaks A Cigarette
Supermodel Kate Moss was spotted smoking last week - despite being three months pregnant. The stunning brunette, 28, announced her pregnancy by Dazed And Confused magazine editor Jefferson Hack on Friday. However before news of her expectant child emerged, Moss was seen puffing away at the opening night of pal Jude Law's off-West End stint in Doctor Faustus at London's Young Vic theatre.

Aussie actress Rachel Griffiths was embarrassed the first time she met Rob Lowe, because he was the subject of her first "wet dream" - at 13.
