Never heard of Speed Of Life and it's a blur of a movie.

Scott Caan is a college student who looks after his mostly bedridden father and then he meets a rich artist (Mia Kirshner) who is slumming it for drugs and they sort of have a relationship, mostly revolving around drugs, while his father plays up when he's not around. Not much more than that and there's little coherent plot hence why it feels like a blur plus it has that "nothing matters" 90s feel that's utterly depressing.
