"Marquise" (1997)
Marquise (1997) is not Sophie Marceau's best known film, and is only available on Secam VHS. Sophie plays the title role, as a young dancer in a small French town, who does sex for pay with her father as business manager. She dreams of the theater. When Moliere and his troupe come to town, she gets her wish. One of Moliere's star players, Gros-René, aranges to marry her, but shares her with any man she wants to sleep with - most especially Moliere. Her first attempt at acting didn't work well, as she froze and couldn't deliver a line.
Her fortune took a turn for the better when she danced for Louis 14, and did a cartwheel under his nose while wearing no underwear. Needless to say, the king was impressed. When her husband dies, she switches to another play write, and plays the lead. Of course, she sleeps with him. She is an
instant hit, but does not find happiness. True to a real French story, the ending is tragic.
Sophie shows her breasts in bed near the end of the film, and a lot of cleavage throughout. IMDB readers say 6.1/10, which would be about right if you ignore exposure from Sophie. The film had a limited US release and grossed $71,384.00.

I looked at Kill Cruise. Jurgen Prochnow at sea again. Elizabeth Hurley briefly topless - a decade ago before she fixed the nose and eyebrows. Poor movie, poor DVD, and the nudity is only visible in freeze-frame, and not even very well then.
I looked at the immortal cinema classic, Garden of Evil.
Grade B update of The House of Wax, except he gives his victims immortality through flowers. Malcolm McDowell is the new Vincent Price.

I looked at The Legend of Bagger Vance. No nudity. Not a bad movie at all, but will sorely test your corn tolerance levels.
I looked at The Million Dollar Hotel. Written by Bono of U-2, starring Mel Gibson, directed by the legendary Wim Wenders (director of Wings of Desire). I didn't understand one damned thing that was happening. No nudity.
I looked at Anatomy, a German horror film, kinda.

"Virgin Witch"
A British version of an early '70's Euro-Horror - but not as deliberately funny or as good as the worst of the Hammer films of the time. It's one redeeming feature is the non-stop nudity.
Two sisters, Christine (Ann Michelle) and Betty (Vicky Michelle) become involved with a black magic cult after the elder sister (Ann) gets a modeling job through a modeling agency run by Sybil Waite (Patricia Haine) - who also happens to be the cult's head witch. Just by chance, she's also a lesbian!
Both sisters are eventually initiated into the group. Ann takes over the group and kills Patricia by stabbing the ground with a ceremonial dagger - spooky stuff.
Anyway, I've no idea what happened to Ann Michelle but Vicky went on to fame and fortune in the BBC comedy series 'Allo 'Allo.

I guess, like most of us, you're a big fan of English medieval church music and folk songs, but even if you're not, can I interest you in the 'Mediaeval Baebes'. These are a British female singing group who are big on the subsidized arts-fringe theatre circuit where they do their stuff. For some
reason, which escapes me at the moment, they have put together a book of photographs of themselves nekkid.
Don't ask me why they've done this because I can't begin to offer an explanation. I am not, however, going to complain too much. See what you think (by the way, all the scratches and blobs are on the originals: the curse of 'art' photography!).
