"Kiss of Fire" (1998)
Kiss of Fire (1998), which IMDB calls Claudine's Revenge, stars Christina Applegate, so you know right away there will be no nudity. In addition, everyone who has reviewed it says about 4/10. It was made for $2.0m, and I can't figure out how they spent that much money making it. An Italian
arrives on a Georgia island and becomes a handyman at the same motel that Christina has a day job handling light chores such as laundry and mail. She also works nights as a stripper, but, even though we see most of her act, we still don't see any interesting parts of her. There is a lot of cleavage and some poke through in this tepid romance. There is a topless anonymous stripper earlier in the strip club. Christina and the Italian become an item, but Christina has a few minor problems. She is bisexual, a former drug addict, a compulsive thief, and is alienated from her wealthy family.
The film gets very muddled about the time she becomes pregnant and goes to visit her family, but is run off by the caretaker of their estate. I had watched this film a long time ago, and passed on images due to the lack of exposure, but had a request for it from a Funhouse member. Considering that Christina never shows us anything, these images are probably worth while. This film was supposed to be a steamy love affair. I never sensed any passion at all. I would have to give it a D. For those who hesitate to suggest projects because I often trash films, don't hesitate. I appreciate
every suggestion, and many have said that they enjoy my negative reviews more than my raves. This is another example of great suggestion, good project, terrible film.

Stripper
"Working Girl" (1988)
This is going to be my shortest review in a long while, and it is all Scoopy's fault. He covered the film, and did it well. He called it a Pretty Woman, but grounded in reality. I would have said Pretty Woman meets 9 to 5. Sigourney Weaver was perfectly cast, and gave a great performance as the
evil, cheating, self-serving boss. So much so, that I cheered out loud when she was told to "get her bony ass out of the office." Griffith was also perfectly cast, as her normally irritating voice was perfect for the role. Harrison Ford also gave a perfect interpretation.
The set design, in fact all of the art direction, was great, and the film was lit and photographed so you could actually see it. DVD transfer is outstanding.

"Crash" (1996)
An excellent collection of images from the David Cronenberg movie. A decent flick that's chock full of explicit nudity from well known actresses. I have to agree with and borrow from Maltin's IMDb review, the movie "Creeps along at the pace of a Yugo". If you're really into watching detached, unfeeling yuppies try to find happiness through empty, yet exotic sex, then you might enjoy this film. But if you'd rather just see the goods, save the $3.50 for the rental and click away.
Alice Poon, as far as I know she did not borrow her last name from one of the aliases used in "Fletch". Here she is getting it on with James Spader, a single breast is visible as she's bent over a table.
Yolande Julian, excellent posterior nudity, plus some topless goods as well.
Deborah Kara Unger. For this movie I think we need to add a 4th B..."Bruises". All four are seen in these 'caps. Unger earns extra points for the explicit, almost gyno-cam close-ups (links #1,2 and 6). Not something you see everyday from an "A-" list actress.
