  • The Nebraska Supreme Court has ruled that Scott Harrold must pay a $1,000 fine for a pornography conviction over an episode of his cable-access TV show, "Crotchy the Clown". Wearing only clown make up and sunglasses, he masturbated on camera in response to a female viewer's letter complaining about the lack of male nudity. In a way, I'm sorry I didn't watch. It would have been the first time in my life that I actually understood what a guy in whiteface was doing. Although, given the fact that mime is never comprehensible, he was probably miming a goat-milking and people misunderstood. I wonder how the live "peanut gallery" enjoyed it. I don't remember anything like this on Howdy Doody. Oh, there was the famous blooper when Buffalo Bob sodomized the sense out of Clarabelle because he thought the camera had cut away to a Wonder Bread commercial, but that was an accident.
  • In other legal news, a lady in the US is suing Internic, the internet name registration company, for not allowing anyone to register such terms as www.cocksucker.com and www.cunt.com. Interestingly, the foreign sites have not banned such words. You can find www.cunt.de and www.fuck.de (as well as the German equivalents, fick.de and ficken.de), for example. The guy who registered fuck.de has it up for sale.

  • Catches of the day
  • Catch of the day, "when they were young" division. What a find from Charlie, the French cinema guy. Peta Wilson in a French TV show from the early 90's -sans panties. To top it off, Charlie even sent a small .mpg of this scene. (See bottom of page)
  • Catch of the day, "caught" division. Zoe Ball on holiday without her shirt.
  • More of Zoe Ball on holiday. Speaking of the U.K.. did you see that Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones have registered their patterns? Unsurprisingly, their chinawear and tea service has the royal crest on it (as mine also did. We Poles have always been less pretentious, though. We have the only royal emblem which features a bowling ball, some 1-900 numbers, and an empty space that can be rented out for advertising.) Anyway, if you want to get them the whole thing, only $61,000 for the tea service. If you can only afford one piece, the tea strainer is $4,500. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they are registered at K-Mart. I wonder what Crotchy the Clown will be sending them? Something personal and hand-wrapped, I'm sure.

  • Amistad
  • There is a significant amount of female nudity in Amistad. It is not erotic, sexy or beautiful. These frames show chained naked people being killed by fellow human beings, and it is a true story. This may be Spielberg's most honest movie, but it passed relatively unnoticed, winning no Oscars, and garnering no major nominations (unless you count as "major", Anthony Hopkins as best supporting actor for his usual interesting and detail-minded performance as John Quincy Adams). Djimon Hounsou was not nominated for his powerful portrayal of Cinque, nor Spielberg for his direction. It is a movie worth seeing, doubly so because of the attention it paid to historical accuracy. Anyway, for the record, here are the nude scenes, as capped by The Realist.

  • Here is Roger Ebert's review of Amistad. I think he wrote an especially eloquent, informative, and accurate review, even by his own high standards. No big deal, but I think he was a trifle off-center on just one point. He mentions that the movie was too much about legal minutiae, and too little on the rights of man. Maybe so, but I think it was very moving that human beings were being tried as chattel, and defended by a real estate lawyer. That subtle point spoke more volumes than any eloquent speeches from John Quincy Adams. The emotionless approach by their own counsel, Matthew McConaughey (who didn't feel the human drama of the story, but knew the way to win the legal case was by arguing property law) was a beautiful counterpoint to the grand sweep of the greater issues. I have to confess to liking McConaughey a lot. Although he's a good-looking guy, he often strays away from leads in order to play interesting characters with quirky walks and bad haircuts. I have contended for many years that he should have received a supporting actor nomination for his youthful portrayal of Wooderson in "Dazed and Confused".

  • Carrie, from The Realist
  • You have to love any movie which features plenty of frontal nudity in the opening credits. I did love Carrie for that, but I sure can't think of anything else very good about it. A horror movie with minimal horror. A suspense movie with no suspense or surprises. I just have never liked this movie, although I generally like the director, Brian de Palma, and a lot of Steven King's stories. At any rate, here's Sissy Spacek naked.

  • RDO
  • RDO usually only appears in the weekend edition, but he had a few bonuses for us this week. I've forgotten now who first asked for Kirsten Baker, but thanks to Aussie and RDO for their work on this project. Here is Kirsten in "Friday 13, Part 2"
  • more Kirsten, the rest of the scene, including some distant pubes.
  • PJ Soles never got naked in Carrie, but she made up for it here in Halloween.
  • RDO, R. Daneel Olivaw, has no site of his own, but we have all of his nude scans and caps in our subscription area. They certainly number many hundred, possibly more than a thousand. This area includes the rasslin' babes site, the fakes, the Fun House, the back issues, the Encyclopedia, and the Mardi Gras pics! Search for him under "RDO" with the back issues search function. Over 24,000 images! Over 40,000 movie frames. Click here for more details!

  • Miscellaneous
  • Some weird stuff. I guess you don't think Sinead O'Connor would look all that sexy naked. I think you'll be surprised at how good she looks in these paparazzi pictures.
  • You probably don't think kd lang would look that good, either. In this case you would be correct. Here she is in the obscure movie, "Salmonberries"
  • speaking of obscure movies, here's Elizabeth Morehead in "Sandtrap"
  • also from Dann, Kelly Burns in "Watch Me"
  • from Remer, one more of Britney Spears in that Kid's Choice thing
  • also from Remer, Brigitte Bako in "The Escape"
