TV Round-Up

The final episode of season one of The Borgias included no nudity. The entire season proved disappointing in that regard, as the show turned out to be more political than pulpy. There will be a season two, but there's no good reason to suspect any change in the overall thrust and tone of the project.

Episode 6 of Game of Thrones had two nude scenes:

Episode 7 of Game of Thrones was supposed to be available on hbogo.com, but HBO's servers were not prepared for the massive demand, and it was virtually impossible to watch the episode.

My initial reactions to Game of Thrones were wrong. I should have known that HBO would come through. The show doesn't have a lot of depth, perhaps because it has too many characters to develop, but it has proved to be consistently imaginative, interesting, and entertaining. You can't say that about many shows on TV.

The clips from Xanadu are in the French Nudity Section below

  • * Yellow asterisk: funny (maybe).

  • * White asterisk: expanded format.

  • * Blue asterisk: not mine.
