One continues his weekend flurry of
activity. This movie is The Informant,
and the naked lady is Simone Bendix. The
movie was just out year before last, was
written by Nicolas Meyer, and starred
former Bond, Timothy Dalton. It's about
the endless struggles in Northern
Ireland. Nobody reviewed this thing. Did
it ever reach the theaters? The only
review on line to the IMDb is from
Apollo, and only 13 viewers voted for it
in the Apollo system. Only 15 voters
bothered with an IMDb vote. The
attractive Ms. Bendix had a starring role
in a UK miniseries called "The Crow
Road", but things are quiet for her
since "The Informant". These
first four collages are a sequence where
she gets out of bed to answer the phone,
then gets dressed. They are in sequence.

"Severance plays the part with about

is 40 now, and I'm thinking the ol' bod
is gonna stay tucked safely inside. Sigh

for DVD, one of the greatest inventions
of our century. (The single greatest, of
course, is the pause button)

Sad news.
Although the Kathleen Beller scenes, from
yesterday, were shot in good light,
either in daylight or a well-lighted
room, the Lesley-Anne Down scenes were
not, except for the facial close-ups.

you're young, it's hard to imagine, but
for about two years she was the hottest
star in the galaxy. She did The Graduate
and Butch Cassidy within two years in the
late 60's. Her career didn't really work
out the way she planned, though. I think
Butch Cassidy was pretty much her last
good movie, and she just drifted through
the fringes. According to IMDb, she made
a comeback in 1997 in a movie called
"Home Before Dark", but I don't
know a thing about it. She's nearly 60
now. I'll bet reading that made some of
you feel old, eh? Anne Bancroft was only
36 when she did the Graduate, so Ross is
now old enough to play Mrs Robinson's
mother!

The Grand
Master spent a great deal of time on
Antonioni's "Beyond the
Clouds". This is one movie I wish
they would release on DVD, because lots
of beautiful women spent a lot of frames
naked. In the case of Sophie Marceau,
there was even one brief look between her
legs, although GR did not include that
frame in his collage.
