Wow, I think we may have a new record for most caps submitted by one guy in one day! If not...it's pretty darn tootin' close! It's difficult to think of any comments of real signifigance regarding these celebs and their movies. The ladies are all French Canadian, and as much as Americans like to think that Canada isn't a real country, Quebec (unlike the rest of Canada) is nothing like Wisconsin! So I'm going to go off on a little tangent instead.

Having recently spent a little time in Montreal I can say this....once you cut through the cloud of non-filtered cigarette smoke, a beautiful city is revealed. A city that is probably the closest thing on our continent to being in Europe without actually being in Europe. The French influence is strong, and that is clearly evident in the food, the art, the clothing, the architecture, the rudeness toward Americans, and even the fact that the latest hit music is about 15-20 years old. Actually, I found that when I spoke my broken high school French, I received nothing but compliments, even from those folks who didn't want my valuable American dollars!

Now on to my point....Considering the profession I have chosen, combined with the fact that I have lived in 6 states and something like 20 cities in under 30 years, what I am about to say is pretty bold, especially considering that I now reside in Southern California....but in all of the places I have lived or visited...pound for pound, dollar for duck and beaver covered dollar, Montreal has the most beautiful women I have ever seen gathered in one city!

Granted, there are individuals that flat out smoke the competition in every town, city and country in the world. But when it comes to pure volume of gorgeous women gathered in one place. I have never seen a legitimate competitor, let alone a rival to Montreal.

What does that have to do with these 'caps. Probably nothin'. But enjoy them anyway.

From the pages of Blackmen, El K keeping it real with these fly honeys. Or something like that...after all, on a good day I think my street cred is only slightly above that of Joe Don Baker's. Anyway, these first 3 ladies are all somewhat famous dancers from videos. If you watch a lot of MTV you'll see them in videos from Snoop Doggy Dog, and the like. By the way, for all of you college guys...here is a fun party tip...Try having a "Gin and Juice" party. Fair warning, I knew someone who tried this once and he woke up half naked in a tree. So be careful.

Vidcaps from "Une Liason Pornographique". Comments by DB:
'Tis difficult to find anything original -But here goes anyway. Saw this on French Digital TV(don't ask how). Unfortunately my French is not good enough to describe the whole plot.

premise-
Two strangers meet at a bar, have a drink and check into a two-bit hotel for a quickie. And again on the next day and the next ....They then talk on camera to an unseen interviewer of their meetings - the interviews seem to take place in the future as both parties look a lot older.

Although this is probably all wrong and I shall have to resume my berlitz course!

Barbara Champion Vidcaps from Dee' Snider's "Strangeland". If you haven't seen this movie...well it's a toss up between a stupid-cliched-excercise-in-washed-up-rock-star-over-indulgence, and borderline entertaining. From the theatrical perspective, while every little step this movie takes is completely predicable, it does feature elements that make most people turn away. And that's cool!

The 'horror' aspect of the movie isn't so much derived from the psychopathic killer, I thought the 'horror' came from the culture in which the bad guy (Captain Howdy) lives. What gets you is that the "torture" scenes are elements that exist in our society as a means of sexual expression. Granted, it's pretty much f'd up, but it's not just a movie fantasy world that lives on the screen and goes away after 90 minutes. To at least some degree, it is very real, and I think that's what gets to you. The knowledge that while this is "torture" in movie, it was probably conceived, tested and enjoyed by someone in real life!

"Better than Chocolate', from Tuna

You can find my review and my caps in the back issues. Movie about non-threatening lesbians, obviously meant to crossover to the male audience. Bottom line: no great earth-shatterer; not a movie you should go out and get tomorrow, like "The Sweet Hereafter". But a pretty cute story with the smell and feel of real people, and a pleasant watch in general. A girl has to hide her lover from her mom. It's really just the same old story as always, except this time the lover is another girl. Karen Dwyer, the little redhead, is just as cute as can be.

Tuna's comments: Better than Chocolate is a Canadian indie that was panned by critics as not dealing in depth with sexual orientation issues. Based on the comments on IMDB, normal people were able to figure out that this was a romantic comedy that just happened to include people of every sexual orientation. The main story is actually about the mother of one of the two main lesbian lovers, who has just left her husband and moved her and her teenaged son in with her daughter. The daughter deals with how to "come out" to her mother. The daughter also works in a lesbian adult book store which is fighting with Canadian customs who keep impounding books as obscene.

Taken for what it is, it is a delightful film with genuinely funny moments, and is beautifully photographed. I give it an enthusiastic thumb up.

The Industry Insider

Insider is a specialty filmmaker (not porn) who often sends in stuff from his private parties, outtakes from photoshoots, set-up shots for lighting tests, and other goodies from his personal photo album. Today's group features Mason Marconi, who was featured on our page a couple days ago, and it's a pretty good bet you've never seen them before. I recognize Tonya Qualls. Some of you guys probably know the third woman as well. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
