"Stripped to Kill II"
Stripped to Kill II (1989) is a sequel to Stripped to Kill, also by Katt Shea Ruben, and was specially requested by a Fun House reader because of the best exposure to date from Marjean Holden. Maria Ford works at a strip club, and is staying with Karen Mayo-Chandler, when co-workers start dying of razor blade cuts. Ford dreams about the murders before they happen, and is not 100% certain she is not guilty, especially since she wakes up with the victim's blood on her face. She is only one of the many suspects the police detective has to evaluate, including a peeping Tom disk jockey at the club. Most of the film consists of stripping. The good news is that seven women show buns and breasts in the film. The bad news is that it is all in strip club light.
Actresses include Lisa Glaser, Debra Lamb, Jeannine Bisignano, Karen Mayo-Chandler, Maria Ford, Marjean Holden and Birke Tan. The strip routines are fairly elaborate production numbers, but are not especially erotic, and the only sex is between Ford and the detective, fully dressed in an alley. The weak plot and dialogue is not helped by the grainy 4/3 transfer, although the acting is adequate. IMDB readers have this at 3.4 of 10. It is a barely acceptable genre effort, the genre being stripsploitation, and is hence a C-.

Back in 1991 PG-13 movies still had nudity, and Julie Warner had a nice nude scene in this Michael J. Fox comedy.
A brand-new doctor gets stuck in a small southern town with no money and no transportation, and is forced to perform community service at the local hospital after knocking down the judge's fence. It's hokey and predictable, but still enjoyable.
"Frida"
The recently released on DVD Salma Hayek movie is a very well done biography of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. I'm not big on biographies, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
