"True Blood"
s2, e1
Just a quick note.
This film clip (third party), and therefore the captures below, are
1920x1080. That is not necessarily as good in HDTV as it is in Blu-Ray. You
see, Blu-Ray images are 1080p, progressive scans, but when TV images are shown
in 1080, they are actually 1080i. (Actually, I'm not sure if that is
always true, but I don't know of any 1080p TV broadcasts. It is possible to
broadcast 1080p shows, but requires a massive amount of bandwidth.)
The key point is that 720p captures and film clips are often superior to
1080i, albeit smaller. If you compare Aesthete's film clip and captures below
to the one above, you'll probably like his better. My belief, however, is that
an important story should be covered as thoroughly as possible, and the1080i
clip is available, so let's have a look at it!

Remote Control
??
Scoop's note: another rarity. I have no idea what this is. I've never
seen it before except in previous contributions from Scorpion. But
Spradling looks great.
