  • I got about 50 e-mails about my Fletch comments. They really struck a chord. Everyone agreed with my general point, but people suggested other Fletch books which would have made good movies. The most common one was "Fletch and The Man Who". I went back and re-read that one this morning, and I have to say that would have been a great movie. Fletch becomes the press secretary for a presidential candidate who becomes enmeshed in some messy stuff. In fact, that one could still make a great movie for Chevy now, just by altering the character some to make him 50ish. (I'm afraid the time for Carioca Fletch is past, at least for Chevy. Plus, I'm sure Mr Underhill's American Express must have expired by now.)
  • Realist wrote in to say that the strange blue picture from Fifth Element was the brief lovemaking scene at the end, and in motion it appears that the little bump on the bottom right is Milla's nipple, although the still captures can't seem to freeze the illusion.
  • One visitor wrote in to say that the new Adam Sandler movie features a woman named Leslie Mann who appears to have an enormous chest. He found a previous picture of her (dressed) in which she appears to be flat-chested. I guess the follow-up questions are obvious. (1) is she newly remodeled, or is there another explanation? (2) Any nude or skimpy pictures of her?
  • I forgot to mention when I was writing about Delia Sheppard that she was the Penthouse Pet in April 1988. It is possible that issue of Penthouse had more biographical info on her. (???). Just for your future reference, here is a site that has a list of all the Pets since 1969, their measurements, and some mathematical summaries by decade. It's not very user-friendly, but the data is there. While I'm on the topic, here is an excellent site which catalogues every woman who has ever appeared in Playboy since the beginning of time. This one IS user-friendly, indexed in several different ways, and updated with every issue.
  • DB wrote in to say that he didn't know for sure if he had a capture of Julie Walters in "Intensive Care", but he might have. He found this on an old CD, labeled "Unknown TV Drama 1983" - which is pretty darned close. Can anybody make a positive ID?

  • Franka Potente is one of the very hottest properties in German entertainment, and she is still only in her early 20's. This is from that cinema extravaganza "Babes' Petrol". The IMDb says that this is the title used in the US release, but this makes no sense, or at least would explain why nobody in the US would ever rent it. The term "petrol" is virtually meaningless in America, and is a Britspeak/Eurospeak term. Even thought the words may make sense separately in England, that title probably sounds like indistinct gibberish to any native English speaker in any location. Here's a tip for you youngsters. When you make your great movie, and want to translate the title into another language, hire someone who actually speaks that language. The literal translation into American English is "The three gas station babes", which would at least have made sense.

  • Eilbachery. RDO wrote in to say that his caps of Live Wire were from a version marked "unrated". Therefore, Umpire's must also have been from this version. One other fellow wrote in to say that Eilbacher claims that a body double was used in the scene. I couldn't find anything to confirm or deny.
  • One visitor wrote in to say that Julie Walters did a nude scene in a 1982 TV movie called Intensive Care. I know this is a real long shot, but does anyone have the tape, or caps of this scene?
  • One guy who has been reading my site just about from the beginning wrote in with a warning. There is a site called www.shaysweet.com. Shay Sweet is the name of a well-known porn actress, but she is not involved in this site at all. My correspondent signed up for the five-day free period, and it turned out that the five free days come after the first 30 you pay for!!! According to the writer, they do this same thing with many other URL's which use the names of popular porn actresses. Caveat emptor.

What was she doing all those years between her alleged 1961 birth and her 1988 Penthouse appearance? Who has the straight skinny?

I don't even remember if I've ever seen this movie, and I don't know if any of these are from the regular release or the unrated one.   • Here's a movie where they need to transfer a good print to DVD. Rosanna Arquette in The Executioner's Song. Oh, it's an OK movie, who cares, really? The point is that Rosanna did a lot of nudity, and it's never as clear as we would like it
  • I think this is the only movie where Julie Walters did any extensive nudity - "She'll be Wearing Pink Pyjamas". The Bare Facts says that she did a brief breast exposure in something called "Personal Services", but I haven't seen the movie or any caps.
