La Teta y La Luna (The Tit And The Moon) is another wacky comedy from Bigas Luna, apparently the third in a trilogy of themed movies (the other two being Jamón, Jamón and Huevos De Oro). This only may be the most blatant of the trilogy and that's saying something. Basically, a young boy gets breast envy when his mother gives birth to his brother and finds a substitute in a newly arrived French performer (Mathilda May). Meanwhile his older brother gets a huge crush on the French woman to the point that he comes between her and her Le Pétomane-like lover. Absolutely silly fun and holds up ridiculously well just as Jamón, Jamón and Huevos De Oro also do. I think this is because the trilogy of movies aren't at all serious and are basically satires of certain type of person, usually men and in this case, a young boy, who get everything they want and still want more. Also, the other two movies star Javier Bardem and wouldn't you know it, he has a "blink and you'll miss" cameo in this movie, even credited under a different name. And funnily enough I looked up what Laura Mañá was in recently and it looks like she's quit acting but she actually directed a new movie I recently capped, Te Quiero, Imbécil. How did I not see this when I capping it?
