Some stuff from me
  • Kind of a motley crew from my own work today. The first film is The Assignment. There isn't that much nudity, but I really enjoyed the movie. It's a "might be true" fictionalization of events leading up to the capture of the notorious terrorist, Carlos the Jackal. This particular capture is a strange one. I watched the Claudia Ferri scene in the widescreen version, and no nudity. I knew a nipple was supposed to be there, so in desperation I watched the standard version, and there it was. I didn't think that was possible. I thought the standard version was supposed to be re-cut and reformatted from the original, and the widescreen version was supposed to be the original. I'm apparently misinformed, at least in this case. Claudia is pretty, as you can see in the glam shots, but the photography in the sex scene was not very flattering.
  • Celine Bonnier in The Assignment. The scenes shot in arty cyan and magenta light often make for some striking cinema, but aren't the easiest to cap. There is a nipple in there somewhere.
  • Lucie Laurier in The Assignment. She had a non-speaking role as the naked chick in the opening credits. This is probably good training for a Bond film. This time we see her in arty red light. Sigh.

  • Instead of an obscure French Actress, they reached deep here for an obscure Polish actress. Liliana Komorowska. She was far from the camera, but at least she was stark naked in natural light.

  • Talk about difficult movies to capture, here's a few from Mel Gibson's "Payback". The entire movie is filmed in a special palette of muted colors - almost exclusively in slate grey and steel blue, in order to create a B&W film noir look in a color film. They may as well have shot it in B&W. It is a retro 1970's revenge movie, ala Charles Bronson, where a single pissed-off bloke takes on the Mob, the Asian Mob, the crooked cops, lying informers, scumbag cheating junkie partners ... you get the picture. It was a pretty good watch, but I thought Mel Gibson was just too darned nice and honorable and loveable to be playing a lowlife scumbag. It was more of a Mickey Rourke role.   • The Crowmeister has some wrestling action for us again today, this time moving over to the WCW. Ted Turner seems to be spicing things up a little bit, as evidenced by this picture of Gorgeous George giving Dennis Rodman a BJ. I guess it can't really be that, but I don't know what it really is.

  • Mongoose mentioned yesterday that there are some hardcore scenes in the original release of Emmanuelle IV. Here's Troyes getting her carpet cleaned. Scorpion provided the captures, and I suppose they must be from hos own personal tape. I don't know if there has ever been an official release of the naughty version.

  • Scorpion sent in his own commentary. It's a little more vivid than our usual, but I guess y'all can take it. "Couple of weeks ago someone asked if Lydia Lunch had done a hard core movie and yes she did, sort of. The tape was full of short skits, mostly beating up and killing people, drugs and other shit like that. The captures start off with some guy forcing Lydia onto her knees and into giving him head. Just as she gets really going he pushes her away, zips up and walks off. Later on some guy jerks off and then Lydia comes along in some cool clothes and teases him, to which he replies that he can have her any time and he pulls a knife, cuts the crotch out and starts eating her.   • When Jolie first appeared on the scene, I didn't think she was very sexy. I've reconsidered. Really reconsidered. Snappy Pappy captured the entire set from the new Rolling Stone. What is there to say except "wow"? Here she is topless. Her hair covers most of the goodies, but not all.
