I did look at this DVD, as I mentioned yesterday, and ripped a video from it. I have often been disappointed by the quality of the Criterion DVDs. They come up with interesting selections and great features, but they don't spend enough time restoring the actual films. This was no exception. I found it depressingly dark, despite the fact that it's a Brian Depalma film, and he is usually on top of the technical aspects of cinematography. I ripped a clip from the DVD, then created two more short videos from that one with variations in brightness and contrast, so that we can actually see the scene. Here are all three of them, so maybe you'll find one you like. (The bandwidth is minimal. It is a very short scene.)
