"Waitress!" (1981)

You can always count on Troma for consistent "bad movies," in bad taste, and with puns, gross-out humor, fart jokes, tits, in other words, everything I love about "bad films." This is no exception. The story meanders around a restaurant, and especially around three waitresses, a would-be actress, I would-be writer, and the daughter of the owner. It would be going too far to say that this wackiness had a plot. Some of the bits are funny, some are crude, and most are stupid, but this is the kind of mindless bad film I need once in a while.

Maltin gave the expected BOMB rating. IMDB readers say 4.8/10. This is one of a new series of remastered early Troma films, pre Toxie. The quality is decent, and there are some extras. C.

    "Stuck on You" (1984)

Stuck on You (1984) is another early Troma release, this one staring Professor Erwin Corey as the angel Gabrial, come to earth as the judge in a palimony case with an eye to saving the relationship. The film is a series of vignettes, some of the couple and highlights of their relationship, others historical, and used by Corey to illustrate his points. The film was intended as a satire of current events and women's liberation. If the following scenes sound funny to you, you are as demented as I am and will enjoy this film:

While body painting each other, Virginia Penta and Mark Mikulski super glue themselves together, and hop past a real estate agent showing the house acroos the street on the way to the hospital. Mikulski works for an egg farmer, and tried to increase laying by making a chicken porno. They call AAA to use the tow truck hoist to get Penta's tight jeans on.

During the opening introduction with Kaufman, the subliminal message "pig fucker" flashes several times. Professor Irwin Corey was never a personal favorite, and some of the humor was too low-brow even for me. C-.

    The Hasselhoff watch: Day 4

G.I. Jane is the fictional account of a woman's attempt to become the first female Navy Seal, starring Demi Moore. I had heard some bad things about this movie, and it wasn't without flaws, but in general I liked it. There was a major flaw - the last 20 minutes of the movie are a complete anti-climax, and unrealistic Hollywood bullshit. But up until that point, it isn't bad at all. Directed by Ridley Scott, who knows his stuff.

    • Demi (1, 2, 3)

Open Your Eyes (1997) is a complex movie, but can best be simply explained as a really good episode of The Twilight Zone in Spanish. As Serling's series often did, the movie uses a psychological SF framework to explore some serious ideas. And like the series, it never lets the serious ideas interfere with the mystery and entertainment. Good stuff!!

As Junior pointed out yesterday, this is being remade in English as "Vanilla Sky", directed by Cameron Crowe. Considering Crowe's considerable talent, Cruz repeating her role from the Spanish version, and a great script to start with, it could be a winner.

Blow Out is an intriguing noir thriller from Brian DePalma, in which a sound man fortuitously records a traffic accident, except that his recording proves it was no accident, and that fact puts his life in danger. It stars John Travolta in the only significant non-singing or dancing role of his first period of stardom (1977-1981, during which he did Saturday Night Fever, Grease, and Urban Cowboy), and the last of his successes until Pulp Fiction 13 years later. Between Blow Out and Pulp Fiction (1982-1993), his highest rated movie was Look Who's Talking! (only 5.5). Four of his films from that era are rated in the 3's and 4's: Perfect, Two of a Kind, Staying Alive, Look Who's Talking Too.

Travolta fell so far from 1982 to 1993 that his fee per film had dropped to $50,000 by 1994. I think he's back up around seven million now!

Of course, Travolta has also made awful movies, in fact his two worst movies, during his young good-looking star period (Moment by Moment), and his old chubby star period (Battlefield Earth).

The "nudity" highlight of these public snaps is Majandra Delfino, but there are some nice non-nudes in here.

    The premiere of Summer Catch

Jessica Biel. No nudity, just a tight dress, but this lady has one spectacular figure.

Christa Campbell. Lots o' cleavage. Two words, both hubba.

Buffy. No flesh, but cute as a bug.

Mrs Culkin. Well, ex-Mrs Culkin. Minor pokies.

    The premiere of American Outlaws

The ubiquitous Christa Campbell, this time in low-slung jeans.

You want see-through? here ya go. MAJANDRA DELFINO! She looks hot.

Heather Olsen. Jumbo jacks, lots o' cleavage.

  • Spaz
That's not Xenia Seeberg in the 08/19/2001 Funhouse. The uncensored Lexx: P4X episode aired in Canada last week and the screenshots attributed to Xenia in the shower scene belong to one of two no-name extras. As with Xenia, she showed the side of one of her breasts and discretely cups them with her hands which is not much better than what she already shown in the second season Web/Net Lexx episode.

  • Xenia Seeberg
#1. A lot of bare breasts in shower scene
    #2. Underwear and major bondage

  • Lydia Klenck: background nude #1 in shower, topless and major butt

  • Beth Mahaney: background nude #2 in shower, topless and major tattoos

Cindy Fidler (aka C.J. Fidler) started in thankless B-movie roles in the mid 1980s. In her first role as bathtub girl #1 in the sex comedy "Loose Screws" (1985) she went full frontal (see Funhouse August 1, 2001).

After similar such roles over a decade she started doing mainly stunts since 1995. Another actress who went the same similar route from topless B-movie roles to stunts is Laura Albert.

    Nudity as follows:

  • topless in her only lead role in "Fireballs" (1987)
  • buns and cleavage as dancer #2 in "Sam & Me" (1991)
  • cleavage as nurse in "National Lampoon's Senior Trip" (1995)
  • sexy as nympho #1 in 1999 Lexx episode "Love Grows"

Kristin Rohde in the HBO prison series "Oz" plays a butch female guard who looks like the Big Broad from the B.C. comic strip. In the episode "A Word to the Wise" she exposes herself to a male co-worker in the co-ed locker room. Ugh!

    "Feeling Sexy"
Susie Porter appeared in the FH starkers a few days ago and there's more nudity in these caps from Feeling Sexy. She's no beauty but she is naked.
  • Susie Porter (1, 2, 3)

    "Hard Knocks"
Tracey Mann gets her top off in Hard Knocks. There's also some very nice pokies. If the gossip mags are to be believed Tracey has just found Buddhism.

  • Tracey Mann (1, 2, 3)

    "Sample People"
Sample People is another forgettable film that Kylie Minogue has starred in - it's purely art house. There's the briefest of nipple peek during a shag session.

  • Kylie Minogue (1, 2)

    "Long Weekend"
Briony Behets gets topless in Long Weekend, the story of a couple who go bush camping and meet all sorts of problems. Briony is well-known for her nudity in Aussie soaps of the 70s.

  • Briony Behets (1, 2, 3)

    "Harlequin"
Alyson Best has the best breasts of all of my submissions today, well at least she did 20 years ago. Harlequin is a political thriller and Alyson made it worthwhile.

  • Alyson Best

    "Harlequin: Another Woman"
You see Jocelyn Snowdon's sole contribution to Another Woman, another in the Harlequin series of films. She doesn't even get to speak as she only features in a flash back.

  • Jocelyn Snowdon (1, 2)

    "The Sugarland Express"
No visible nudity by Goldie Hawn in The Sugarland Express. She's topless but you only see it from the back.

  • Goldie Hawn

"So I Married an Axe Murderer"
Almost identical situation with Amanda Plummer in So I Married an Axe Murderer. No visible nudity.

  • Amanda Plummer

    "The Runner"
Once again no visible nudity in The Runner. Courtney Cox is topless but some lucky bloke has his hands on the goodies.

  • Courtney Cox (1, 2)

    "Afterburn"
Continuing with the no nudity, but Laura Dern shows some lovely pokies in the forgettable movie Afterburn.

  • Laura Dern

    "The Cormorant"
Helen Schlesinger is topless in a British film The Cormorant. Yes, it's a horror film with a rogue cormorant. Nothing's sacred.

  • Helen Schlesinger

    "Body and Soul"
Body and Soul is a boxing film, telling the rise of a small town boxer. There's plenty of silicone-filled hooters and some nice ring girls. There's also some rear nudity by Kirsten Shafer who plays Tahnee Welch's body double.

  • Tahnee Welch and Kirsten Shafer
  • Unknowns (1, 2)

    "Deuce Bigalow : Male Gigolo"
Deuce Bigalow : Male Gigolo is an entertaining movie about Deuce Bigalow, a man who accidentally stumbles on the gigolo profession. No nudity just some terrific see-through caps of Bree Turner's plastic tits when she gets them wet. There's also some lingerie caps by Marlo Thomas, Gail O'Grady and Arija Bareikis.

  • Gail O'Grady
  • Bree Turner
  • Arija Bareikis
  • Marlo Thomas

    "Murder Most Likely"
Some terrific pokies by Marie-Josée Croze in the entertaining thriller Murder Most Likely. Marie-Josée is the one murdered when she is dropped from a tall building.

  • Marie-Josée Croze

"The Lovers of the Arctic Circle"
Two actresses playing the same part (at different times of life) are nude in the Spanish movie The Lovers of the Arctic Circle. They are Kristel Diaz, with some very revealing back views as she lies in bed, and Najwa Nimri.

  • Kristel Diaz
  • Najwa Nimri

  • The return of Iced T
    Comments by the Iceman:

These are the first Caps I've done in over a year!

Cybill Shepherd (& others) from "The Last Picture Show". Good movie, crappy DVD transfer. Shepherd was unbelievably beautiful when she was younger.

  • Cybill Shepherd. Topless in links 2 and 3. Bare bum also visible in #3. (1, 2, 3, 4)

  • Kimberly Hyde, full frontal nudity.

  • Sharon Taggart, topless.

Next up...Julie Strain from "Battle Queen 2020" Definitely a new addition to my top 5 worst movies list. Plenty of skin and decent DVD quality though. So, I won't complain too much :)

  • Big Julie (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

  • Rarities
Kate Beckinsale The British babe and "Pearl Harbor" star showing some cleavage and wearing a pleather outfit in scenes from "Shooting Fish" (1997).

Laura Linney Topless from the made for cable mini-series, "Further Tales of the City".

Robin Wright Clear breast exposure, and near rear nudity from "Moll Flanders" (1996).

    Julia Ormond
    (1, 2, 3)

Far off, and a little bit bloody, but all three B's are seen in these 'caps from the Peter Greenaway film, "The Baby of Macon" (1993).

    Comments from Sleuth
    Scoop:

The Tyra Banks nude nipple exposure from the side originally came from British GQ magazine in Spring 1998. I know, because I was the first one to find it :-)
