Today's
update is from the
Spanish drama Tirante el
Blanco, a very silly
movie about the sexual
shenanigans of the
monarchy in ancient
Spain and has a terrible
performance from the no
charisma lead male who
doesn't seem to have
done much else,
unsurprisingly. The
version I have is in
English which it looks
like it was filmed in,
but it is dubbed with
very English voices and
sounds plain weird when
some actors speak,
particularly those who
have worked in English
language and I know how
they sound. There's also
some English actors who
sound like they've been
dubbed too. Baffling...

probably thinking
"Jane Asher? Why does
that name sound
familiar?" Yes, you do
know who she is. She
was Paul McCartney's
girlfriend during the
peak of the Mop-Tops'
popularity in the mid
sixties, and was Sir
Paul's muse and first
fiancee. They first
started seeing each
other in 1963, more
than 50 years ago. Now
you're probably
thinking,"Wait! How
could she be naked in
a 2006 movie. There is
a two-part answer: (1)
she was 17 when she
started dating Mecca;
(2) she was 60 when
she did her nude
scenes in this movie!
She looks about as
good naked as any
60-year-old human I've
ever seen.
