Jake is a 2013 comedy movie where an annoying man named Jacob wakes up one morning to a man claiming that he has been recast as Jacob by someone unknown and Jacob is now cut-off and is someone else who can do whatever he wants with his new life. This baffles Jacob but no more than when the people in his life don't even recognise him and only recognise the new Jacob, who doesn't even look like him. Jacob can't do anything about it because he has an ankle bracelet that shocks him if he breaks the rules. The new Jacob becomes the perfect Jacob that someone wants him to be while the old Jacob tries to work out what's going on, only to be confronted by the company involved who force him away from the new Jacob so he goes into acting lessons to be someone else. But when it becomes clear the old Jacob doesn't want this, he is chained up and left to fend for himself while the new Jacob begins to get doubts about his new role.

Baffling movie that has a semi-interesting concept but blows it by making it completely implausible, none of it making sense and gets more implausible until it's surprisingly nasty ending. The plot involving the girlfriend is so implausible and baffling that I've got no idea why it ended the way it did. I got nothing...
