"The Initiation"
The Initiation (1984) features full frontal nudity from soap superstar Hunter Tylo in her first screen appearance, and side view of breasts at a distance, buns, and later top of buns wearing panties from Daphne Zuniga. The reason I am giving the nudity report now is that i am going to write a spoiler,
This is a teen slasher, complete with escaped mental patient, sorority initiation, and an excuse to lock all the victims in a location with the killer. As the film starts, a total bitch of a nurse yells at a horribly burned scarred gardener/patient, and is murdered leaving work with a gardening implement. We learn that eight patients escaped, including the gardener. Zuniga is having nightmares that end with someone catching fire. She has total amnesia about her childhood, and these nightmares are nearly constant. She is pledging a sorority, and the official prank will be to lock the remaining pledges in her father's department store, to get the night watchmen's clothes. Her mother and father have never wanted her to see a psychologist, and they try to keep her from seeing a post grad who does dream research. The father is killed by a hand using the same gardening tool, and the night watchmen is killed before the girls enter. The sister in charge of the pledges lets three boys and herself into the building to scare the pledges.
Ok, lets stop and think about this. The escaped mental patient is obviously the real father of Zuniga, Zuniga is a lovable character, and starting a relationship with the post grad, so we know they have to survive. They have been all but telling us the killer is the gardener. Were that true, there would be no mystery or suspense. We know Zuniga can't be the surprise killer, because she was elsewhere when some of the early murders were committed. The father is seen in the department store, so he fits into the puzzle. So what is the only possible solution? The dreaded SURPRISE EVIL TWIN.
The film didn't build any tension, the gore effects were nothing special, and other than the obligatory shower scene, where we first see Tylo's goodies, it was a very dull watch. Tylo also changes tops in the department store, in case we have forgotten by then what her breasts look like.
IMDB readers say 5.1 of 10. That is way too generous. It is technically competent, but has the worst plot I have yet seen in a genre that is not known for good plots. Low C-.

"Society"
Society (1989) is a horror mystery, paranoia variety, about a young man in Beverly Hills. He is star of the basketball team, will likely be elected student body president, but doesn't fit in, and feels like an outsider, even in his own home. When he tells this to his shrink, the shrink says he is just being paranoid. As the film goes along, he discovers that something is very different, indeed, about the people around him. They are the upper class of society, and he is obviously not one of them. When a friend who had been jilted by his sister bugged her, and got a recording of her and her parents talking about her "coming out orgy," he knew something was seriously wrong.
Well, it seems he is just a normal human being, while his family is part of another race that has always been on earth, and always been in power. He is being raised for amusement. The film did very well in the UK, but fared much worse in the US. The director, Brian Yuzna, ascribes that to the fact that Brits understand class distinctions, while we Americans don't. Maybe.
Patrice Jennings, a one time wonder who plays his sister, shows buns in buttfloss underwear, and the top of her breasts in a shower scene. Devin DeVasquez shows her magnificent breasts in a sex scene with our hero. IMDB readers say 5.8 of 10. The few reviews linked at IMDB are not favorable. Some of the special effects were fairly impressive, but, on the whole, it was a very forgettable film. C-.

On the question of the topless photos of Miss North Carolina, I believe the judge ordered the sleazy ex-boyfriend to turn over all negatives and copies to her and her lawyer, so I doubt you'll be seeing those pop up anywhere. At least not until after the book and movie deals are made anyway.

It's been a while since I have seen Friday the 13th Part VII and VIII, but if memory serves, there was some pretty good rear nudity from one of Jason's victims in each film. Both films were released on DVD recently. I was wondering if anyone had any caps or colleges. Thanks!

The news also says that Lorraine Bracco is probably going to replace Kathleen Turner in "The Graduate." Can you confirm?
