Free the Nipple
These are
uncensored
versions of
pictures that
appeared on many
websites and in
many tabloids in
June. The Free the
Nipple
organization is a
group founded by
actress/filmmaker
Lina Esco. Lina
and her associates
staged a protest
in NYC on June 1,
in the wake of the
Scout Willis
topless stroll on
May 27th. Esco is
also writing and
directing a
fictional film
which used the
campaign as its
theme and its
title. (So I guess
the protests also
act as publicity
for the film. Now
that's synergy.)

Tulpa:
Perdizioni Mortali
(2012)
Johnny's
comments:
How
'bout some Italian
horror?
Tulpa:
Perdizioni Mortali is a
giallo thriller where
executive Lisa Boeri
(Claudia Gerini) releases
the stress of her job by
going to a private sex
club. At the same time, a
killer is stalking and
killing members of the sex
club. After the death of
the third member of the
club, Lisa realises that
she has had sex with all
three people and she goes
to the club to warn them
of this. She is followed
by one of her workmate who
has it in for, but after
getting damaging evidence
against Lisa, she is
murdered by the killer.
Lisa desperately tries to
warn one of her sexual
partners that he could be
next, but the killer has
something in store for
her.
Tawdry movie, not uncommon
for a giallo, but also
very silly, unfortunately
also not uncommon for a
giallo. Gerini is a pretty
good actress and she
elevates this movie to a
slightly higher quality
than it should be, but the
silliness of the plot and
a ridiculously high amount
of mentions of the word
'tulpa', whatever the fuck
that it is, stifle the
quality of this movie.
