Dear White PeopleGerminal2021 French mini-series, 1080hd Germinal is about a subject that I think we're all interested in - a French coal miner's strike in the 1860s. While this might be fodder for a stirring folk song, I'm not sure how it could be the basis for a TV series that people would actually watch. But, hey - France! It is a very faithful adaptation of a heady novel by Emile Zola, and the French do love some Zola. Check Other Crap

TV Ally McBealAlly McBeal was a reasonably successful show - it went for 112 episodes and 5 seasons from the 1997 to 2002. The show was set in a Boston law firm and starred Calista Flockhart in the title role of Ally McBeal. There was no real nudity but it did hold my interest with some of the outfits worn.
