Brain Dead is a fairly good psychological horror movie in which Bill Pullman plays a brain scientist more attuned to his brain collection than to his human friends. He is recruited by his college buddy Bill Paxton, a corporate raider who works for some shadowy company, to check out a patient called Halsey who apparently killed his family. But the shadowy company isn't worried about that, they want to know a special number only he knows and Pullman is brought in to tinker with his brain until he either finds it or lobotomises him so no one knows it. After showing what he can do to for the shadowy company, Pullman is hit by a car and then things become a complete mess for him.

Is what happening to him real, or is he just having a mental breakdown with only Halsey to help him.

Tricky movie with lots of mind bending stuff that has a pretty sad ending. It's well worth a look.
