Hey, Scoop

Hi Scoopy. It may interest you to know it wasn't just Aussie movies in the 70s that featured nudity. They used to have a TV series back then, I can't recall the name, but it was something like "Apartment 10". I'm much too young to remember it, but saw some clips from it on a British series called "Eurotrash" earlier this year. Anyway, this Aussie series was basically a soap opera about a singles apartment complex, and from what I saw, it featured surprising amounts of male and female nudity. It's difficult to imagine how these programmes might've been made. From my own experiences in the industry, nude scenes take forever- the set is closed, the cast take their time to prepare, and they are sequestored away with the director for preparation before hand. In a fast turnaround show like a soap, they'd probably have to come in cold, get their kit off, writhe around in front of a full studio crew, and then move on to the next scene. Caps would be rare from it, but it would make a nice addition.

Don't ask me why Scoop, but somehow I found myself watching Rosie (as I write). Christina Applegate is on and there is some serious "nipplage" happening (thank goodness not on Rosie herself). They must keep that studio really cold cause it looks like Christina could rival Farrah Fawcett (nee Majors) in nipple length. I believe if she had some chalk, she could actually play a little Snooker with those things. If any of your excellent contributors have access to tape of this, it might be worth a look see. Love the page and keep up the good work!! (Somebody else help out here, because I wouldn't watch Rosie to see Cameron Diaz teach a masturbation clinic.)

Dear Scoopy. Regarding one visitor's comments about Winona Ryder's upcoming nude scenes in "Girl, Interrupted": apparently, while she was nude on the SET, she will not be APPEARING nude. As it said in Premiere, she trusted that Director of Photography Jack N. Green would not let the camera show anything "too revealing."

Rookie also responded to yesterday's question about Halle Berry in "The Last Boy Scout". This is the scene in question, and it is Berry's character. Whether all the body parts belong to Berry, I don't know.

Hank and June

There is a ripping amount of nudity in Henry and June, the NC-17 movie based upon the Diaries of Anais Nin, specifically about her relationship to Henry Miller and his second wife. I'm just taking it a bit at a time. Here's the first group of Maria de Medeiros, who played Nin. This is the close up of an apres-sex scene with her husband.
