I Still See You is a supernatural thriller where an unknown event caused the death of millions of people but also left their ghost behind "to haunt the world in remnants," meaning small pieces of their ghostly being are left behind, mostly just to be there. Veronica (Bella Thorne) and her mother are reminded of Veronica's dad, who died in the event, by his presence at the kitchen table every morning. One day, an unknown remnant appears while Veronica is taking a shower and delivers a warning to her which is odd as the ghosts usually stick to a set pattern. Veronica confides this to a sympathetic teacher (Dermot Mulroney) at her school who has an interest in the remnants but she also decides to investigate further and finds new in town Kirk (Richard Harmon) going into a restricted area where he shows her where the remnants come from. Together, Veronica and Kirk attempt to unravel the mystery of the unknown remnant and they discover that Veronica is going to die on her birthday, quite possibly at the hand of the unknown remnant, who seems to have started his killing spree with an already rising body count. After a visit to the restricted territory in nearby Darkness Falls to see the last victim of the unknown remnant, it becomes clear that they may have been wrong about the unknown remnant all along.

OK, good luck with understanding that because there's a lot going on and not all of it seems to make sense although it was pretty obvious from the beginning who the real bad guy was. It's an interesting enough story, even if a lot has to be explained, but I just wish the solution wasn't so obvious.
