Frost

Frost is another new guy. I don't know if Tazman is really from Tazmania, but if he is, these two guys are about as far apart as is possible on the planet. Frost grew up on Svalbard, which is about as far north as any habitable place on the planet. The northern part of the Island is about at the 80th parallel. Thule, Greenland is about at the 75th, and Point Barrow, Alaska seems tropical around the 71st or so. To give Americans a little perspective, Buffalo and Minneapolis are around the 44th! Svalbard, like Tazmania, is interesting to botanists and zooligists and the like because their very remoteness led to developments slightly out of synch with the rest of the planet. I always meant to visit there when I lived in Norway (in Summer, of course), but I never did. Anyway, here's Frost's pic du jour. No nudity, but a new-to-me glam pic of Jennifer Lopez.

The Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. I don't know how much of the Philadelphia sporting legend is true, but the fans booing a severely injured Michael Irvin (if they were doing that. I thought they were booing Deion, which he justly deserves.) brought back a lot of good stories. Bob Euchre always used to say that Philly is the only city where they boo the kids who don't find any Easter eggs. The all-time best was the time they booed Mike Schmidt's kid during a father-son game because they were pissed off at his dad.
