If you
understand the humour of the Scoopy
family, then you'll get a kick out of
this tidbit from my mailbox.....
In a recent interview, John Cleese was
asked what, in comparison to the United
States, was so great about Great Britain.
He replied: "First we speak English,
second when we hold a world sporting
championship we invite other countries to
participate, and thirdly when we greet
our head of state we only are required to
go down on one knee."
Quote of the day.... 1981 - Tommy Lasorda
, Dodger manager, when asked what terms
Mexican-born pitching sensation Fernando
Valenzuela might settle for in his
upcoming contract negotiations: "He
wants Texas back."
