"I acquire a lot of films, but this is the first time I have found one that none of the on-line sources have ever heard of. The title is "Over The Summer." IMDB does list it, but only has one actor's name and no other information. It is not listed at all in Bare Facts, or on reel.com, SamGoody.com or Movies Unlimited. It was made in 1984, and stars two lovely actresses who are also more or less unheard of -- Laura Hunt, and Catherine Williams. It is distributed by Vestron Video, so it is a normal mainstream film. Maybe one of the readers knows more about this film or the actresses? The movie is about a city girl in her mid-teens (Hunt) who is exiled to her Grandfather's farm for the summer by her parents, who are afraid she is beginning to get into trouble in the city. They want a safer environment. She is horrified at the thought of a boring summer in Hicksville. I don't want to give away all of the details in case some of you find this film, but over the course of the summer she gains a police record, loses her virginity and shoots a would-be rapist in the leg. The other girl, Catherine, plays her best friend. This is a pretty good movie, with a plot, interesting characters, good photography and decent acting. I have no idea why it is a secret. There are a total of 5 collages from this film, due to the amount of nudity and the obscurity of the material."
