"Le Professionnel" (1981)

Scoop was nice enough to leave the new releases to me this week, but he didn't mention how few there were with nudity. This foreign release is, however, a real treat. It stars Jean-Paul Belmondo, star of 85 films, as a French foreign agent who was sent to Africa to assassinate a king. When the politics changed and they no longer wanted the king dead, the French decided to sell him out. He escapes after two years in prison, and turns up in Paris to get even, and to complete his mission. Seems the king, who he now has first hand experience with, really needs to die in his opinion, and is visiting Paris.

Belmondo is the "best of the best," and takes on the entire French police department. Elizabeth Margoni, as his wife, shows buns and breasts while being "interrogated" by a sadistic lesbian policewoman. IMDB readers say 7.7/10, and the comments often mention a great score. The DVD transfer is very nice, and gives you your choice of subtitles and language. The dubbing is good enough not to be distracting. Belmondo makes the film, but all of the performances were good. Genre is foreign action, and I give it B-.

    "Back to the Future"

    Back to the Future (1985) is one of those films that was hugely popular (7.8/10 and #153 of top 250) that have yet to make it to DVD. Others on the list include M*A*S*H and Beverly Hills Cop. Spaz reminded me that Lea Thompson "nearly falls out of her dress" in the parking lot at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance, so I located a bootleg. The quality is not everything I would have liked. Focus is not real good, and color saturation is poor, but we can see major cleavage, and maybe a hint of nipple.

    As a reminder, the film stars Michael J. Fox who ends up in 1955, and must locate Dr. Brown (Christopher Lloyd), inventor of the DeLorean time machine, to get "back to the future." Along the way, he meets his mother, who falls in love with him. This threatens his existence, and he must get his mother and father together. What made the film for me was excellent detail of the era. In one scene, a car pulls into a Texico station, and several uniformed attendants run out to service the car and pump the gas. This kind of service was common in the 50, and still existed in some places in the 60's. (I still have one of my Texico shirts). All of the critics love this film, and so do I. B.

     A Walk on the Moon is a movie that I like, although you may not see it the same way, because it's kind of hymn to the best days of my generation. In the summer of 1969, within a very short time, man walked on the moon and the Woodstock festival took place. You might call it the reconciliation of opposites, the apotheosis of science side by side with the return to simplicity, a statement that love and progress could stand side-by-side.

    For my generation it was a helluva summer. For me as well. It was the peak of my acting career, and the summer I fell in love for the first time. The world was filled with infinite promise, as they say. On the other hand, infinite promise matched with finite abilities leads to near-infinite disappointment. 

    But that doesn't make the nostalgia any less sweet.

    This movie is about how those cosmic events, and the cultural revolution of the late 60's, affected ordinary people. Not student radicals, or naked hippies, or Marxists, but you and me. The great silent short-haired socks-wearing masses. For many women, it was about wanting to expand the constricting stereotypical roles assigned to them in the post-war era. Like most people, the Diane Lane character knows the times they are a changin', but she doesn't know what it all means to her. Still, she has this unarticulated feeling that if there is more freedom to be had, she wants a chunk of it. 

    So did we all.

    • Whether the movie is your cup of tea or not, one thing you'll probably like is Diane Lane without her shirt. (1, 2, 3)

    First off, some glamour scans. No nudity except a slight nipple peek in the second picture of an unknown model.

  • Shannyn Sossamon - an actress that I hadn't heard of but is also showing some cleavage.

    "Celos"
    Celos (or Jealousy) is a Spanish film about the jealousy of a man for his wife, played by Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, and one of her former lovers. An interesting film with some good European nudity by Aitana and Itziar Miranda, who plays a prostitute. Some of these caps have appeared before.

    "You Can Thank Me Later"
    The full-frontal nudity in You Can Thank Me Later comes from some 'artistic' dancing that occurs in the background. Amanda Plummer takes her top off but you only see her side view.

    "The Odd Angry Shot"
    The Odd Angry Shot is one of the few Australian Vietnam war movies. Sharon Higgins is the girlfriend that stays behind while her boyfriend goes off to war. There are some topless views of Sharon.

    "The Great Bank Hoax"
    No real nudity in these collages of Charlene Dallas and Constance Forslund, but the views are very nice as they parade in their underwear. There's almost a see-through of Charlene in the second collage but I think it's wishful thinking.

    "The Stepdaughter"
    Andrea Roth stars as the psycho stepdaughter in The Stepdaughter. No nudity there but there's a bit of a nip slip by Cindy Picket just as Andrea drops a mains-powered radio into the bath to electrocute her.

    "Last of the Red Hot Lovers"
    No nudity in Last of the Red Hot Lovers, which tells the story of a married man determined to have an affair. You get non stop pokies by Sally Kellerman, one of his targets. He also tries it on with Paula Prentiss.

    "Valley Girl"
    Valley Girl is one of those teen flicks and tells the story of a girl attracted to a boy from the wrong side of town. Elizabeth Daily's topless caps have appeared before. Tina Theberge and an unknown girl are also topless. The caps of Michelle Meyrink are most likely that of a body double and Deborah Foreman helps with the eye candy.

    Here are a few of Hudson Leick from "Denial" aka "Something about Sex" by Spike. They are all very similar frames, but you never know which combo of breast bounce and facial expression you'll prefer until you test drive 'em.

    By the way...what a great scene! In fact, Scoop and I agree that it's easily one of the best sex scenes ever filmed!

    Here's why:

  • The Evil Callisto has fantastic breasts.
  • Great lighting, no obstructions.
  • Realistic, bangin' the headboard, hot, sweaty, noisy sex! None of the usual softly lit, look deeply into each other's eyes, hold hand while climaxing crap!

    Hudson, please do more scenes like this! Also, if it's not too much trouble, try to avoid repeating career mistakes like "Chill Factor", or that movie you did with Fun House Walk of Fame star, Jeff Fahey!
