"Tobacco Roody"
Tobacco Roody (1970) is a Harry Novak haystack corn porn, and has more nude frames than any other film I have seen. The title is meant to be a takeoff on Tobacco Road. The plot is barely worth mentioning. A farmer, who is really more of a moonshiner seduces his niece after his two daughters rub mud all over her at the swimming hole. The two daughters cavort nude, one of them fantasizes about her only experience with a man, then the two come back to the yard and do a long girl/girl. Meanwhile, mom is in the kitchen taking the sheriff's mind off of his search for a still.
Wifie wears out the sheriff, then takes off to look for the banker and try to get a deal on the late mortgage. Dad falls asleep leaning up against the barn, the two daughters fall asleep nude in the living room, and the niece joins the other two naked on the floor. Act two has mom doing the banker in his van, Dad nailing a lost motorist who only speaks French, and three farmers who get drunk on 'shine find the three girls asleep in the living room, and do what you would expect them to. For a finally, Mom comes home and does dad.
Five women show everything, and most have very explicit gyno-cam shots. Novak, who participates in a feature length commentary, says all of the girls were college students. Then again, he also says they were mostly virgins, and that everyone had multiple orgasms during the shoot. It was not one of the better Something Weird Video commentaries, but a couple of interesting tidbits came out. They shot the fantasy scene in LA's Griffith Park without a license, claiming they were making a student film, and even shot a lengthy scene on the carousel. The gentleman in the fantasy scene was played by none other than the infamous Bethel Buckalew, who wrote and directed many of Harry's films. Although uncredited, Pete Perry was around to produce and keep everyone in line.
Buckalew would scout free locations, then make up a script to fit the locations. This was one of 10 or more corn porn films released by Novak, and was one of the more successful ones, although they all did very well financially.
Now, to the women.
Debbie Osborne, a petite redhead, plays the mother. IN the scene with the banker, she does a lengthy spread leg shot. I included three or four, because I couldn't decide which one gave the best look at her cervix.
Dixie Donovan, large breasted peroxide blonde, showed all three Bs as the niece.
Wendy Winders and Gigi Perez played the sisters. Their best exposure is a very long girl/girl outdoors, which was beautifully shot, especially a scissors scene. Winders also has a good gyno-cam shot asleep on a sofa.
Maxine DeVille France, as the French speaking motorist, also shows everything in a sex scene with Dad.
For those interested in early exploitation, see Wendy Winters 24 for a good face shot of Buckalew.
The film is awaiting 5 votes at IMDB, and no reviews are available. It is only half of a double feature on this DVD, which also includes Southern Comforts. It is a 4/3 transfer, and show sage in spots, and graininess in some scenes, indicating that more than one source was used for the remastering. Still, the overall image quality is excellent, and the exposure is not to be believed. This gets a full C+ for what it is - an early flesh-feste. Lots of beaver, and no pickles.

MOVIES:
Mercy, Frida seems to be my
official permanent project! All Salma, all the time. I went through it,
identified all the other women, and enlarged the two frames which show the best
perspective on Salma's frontal exposure (although my efforts were not
especially productive because of the limited quality of the source).
- Salma. It will look great on DVD, but the quality of this is really too
weak to see very much of her delta of Venus.
- Lucia Bravo - she was the model in an early sequence with Diego Rivera
(Molina) - NOTE: this is the exact same collage as yesterday, except that her
name is now on the bottom of the picture, if you save such things.
- Karine Plantadit-Bageot - she is the singer who seems ... um .. a lot
like Josephine Baker ... but is not actually called that in the credits.
Bageot is a tall stage actress, singing and dancing in things like the
Broadway version of Lion King (which was directed by the same woman who
directed this movie). Karine is not listed in IMDb, but is listed in the
film's closing credits, and her performance in the movie is also identified
on other websites dedicated to theater. The collage shows the scene with
Salma, but I re-assembled it using the best frames for Karine exposure rather
than Salma exposure.
- Mia Maestro - NEW TODAY! she played Frida Kahlo's sister, who got caught
with Frida's husband. Cute butt, but not seen very long or very close to the
camera.
Hellraiser 6 is a good enough
movie when evaluated as a straight-to-vid-or-cable film in the horror-mystery
genre. It's one of those movies where the confusing, surreal events have a
perfectly logical explanation, which is revealed at the very end, like an old
Twilight Zone episode. If you like that kind of movie, this one is not badly
acted and directed. I sort of enjoyed it, although the ""mystery" is the same
old same old. Of course, it really has nothing to do with those
Mennonites, the Hellraiser characters who seem to have been cobbled into the
script after the fact, like guest stars. (Actually called Cenobites)

Earth to J-Lo. Who cares? The best line in the article is a twist on the
Prime Warholian Axiom: "In the future, we will all be married to J.Lo
for 15 minutes." The greatest comment on J-Lo was still achieved wordlessly
when my main man, Trey Parker, the only guy who likes to make fun of
celebrities even more than I do, went to an awards show wearing that same
Versace dress that attracted so much attention to J-Lo.
- Now that President Bush controls the legislative, he needs your help. He

'Caps and comments by Spaz:
"Sweet Movie" (1974) is a erotic black comedy directed by Yugoslavia director Dusan Makavejev starring John "Dean Wormer" Vernon as the original Goldmember. Lot's of sex and nudity but the only thing worth capping was Carole Laure's chocolate scene near the end.
- Carole Laure: full frontal then extreme gyno-cam of chocolate covered mound. Mmm... the land of chocolate.
"W.R.: Mysteries of the Organism" (1971) is an erotic black comedy directed by Yugoslavia director
Dusan Makavejev which put the Cannes Film Festival into Porky's mode with additional round-the-clock screenings because everybody wanted to see it. The movie shows some sexually explicit stock footage, orgasm therapy sessions, and the most explicit handjob ever performed in a non-porn film.
- Milena Dravic: Yugoslavian actress in very short nightdress.
- Jagoda Kaloper: this Yugoslavian actress shows all three B's.
- Nancy Godrey (or Nancy Godfrey?): pokies only but giving an explicit handjob to Screw magazine editor Jim Buckley as she prepares to make a cast of his erect penis. This scene drove the British film censors nuts because under British law a hard-on is considered obscene.
In "The James Gang" (1997), UK actress Helen McCory has a dark topless scene.
In "Riff-Raff" (1990), UK actress Emer McCourt has another dark topless scene. A movie with such thick regional accents subtitles had to be used. Something that should have been done to Sylvester Stallone's movies.
"IXE-13" (1972) is a French-Canadian spy spoof with no English subtitles.
"Buying Time" (1989) is the only movie role for Laura Cruickshank. Here she is topless. By the way...how does she keep that long skirt from riding up during sex?
In the comedy "Middle Age Crazy" (1980), Michele Chiponski (aka Simandl babe Misha Lachat)
gets topless and shakes her booty.
In the in low-budget Canadian tax-shelter horror movie "Prophecy: The Monster Movie" (1979), Victoria Racimo shows pokies while in a wet t-shirt.
Last but not least, Amber O'Shea flashes a boob during the obligatory bathing scene in preparation for harem in "Intimate Power" (1989).

Pat's comments in yellow...
KYLIE SLAMS REALITY SHOWS
It Also Requires A GREAT Ass - Kylie Minogue is condemning reality TV
shows. She was a child star in Australia and is both a singer and actress,
and she says fame is a meaningless by-product of having talent and
developing it. But she says reality shows are cruel because they make kids
think that fame should be their goal, and they can achieve it with no work
or ambition.
You can't achieve fame without work or ambition...without talent, sure.
Fame requires lots of work: dental work, cosmetic work...
For Kylie to become famous, it took years of round-the-clock work by her
press agents.
WINONA'S FILE STOLEN
Keep This Info Under Your Hat! - Police in Santa Monica, California, are
investigating the apparent theft of a confidential court file containing
info on Winona Ryder's financial status, medical history and other personal
items. They believe it was stolen as an "inside job" because it could be
worth a lot of money to tabloids.
Say, Winona's got some big legal bills to pay. You don't suppose...?
It would be easy to steal: just stick it under your hat and walk out.
Winona can't fathom how someone could just take something so valuable
that belongs to somebody else!
ANNA NICOLE SUED BY DECORATOR
When You Swish Upon A Star - Anna Nicole Smith's decorator Bobby Trendy is
suing her, claiming she has not paid for $50,000 worth of furniture.
Viewers of her E! show might recall his creations, such as the checkerboard
pattern shag-carpeted wall and the fuzzy pillows with fringe. Smith's
spokesman said she gave him $14,000, which should more than cover the
furniture. Trendy sniped to the Star tabloid that she had defamed his
work, adding, "She is such trash. She should have gone furniture shopping
at a flea market."
He's right: she could have gotten the same furniture for 40 bucks.
Wow! He actually managed to be too tacky for Anna Nicole Smith!
All the furniture Anna Nicole needs is a steel-reinforced sofa.
He's moved on: he's now the new decorator on "Trading Spaces."

Hey Scoops,
A heads' up to adventurous and industrious members in NYC - Lorraine Bracco makes her debut in "The Graduate" on Broadway on Nov. 19. That includes the notorious nude scene, a la Kathleen Turner, Linda Gray et al. So anyone with a small camera and cool wits should go try to capture the moment for posterity, so to speak.
-3finger
Hey Scoops,
Reknowned pornstar Tera Patrick does a live internet interview show on the net called The Tera Show (www.terashow.com) that is broadcast every two weeks. You can e-mail questions to her to be asked live to her and/or the girls she is interviewing, etc.
I remembered seeing Tera on this site a few months ago in the September 10, 2002 issue, in caps taken from a softcore film called "The Stalker", so I e-mailed her in reference to that film. She had no idea what I was talking about. Think she's hiding her venture into softcore from her peers, or is that flick known by something else?
-Z
Jr's reply...most likely it just has another name. Back in the Sept 10, 2002 Tuna covered the movie in detail, and mentioned in his review that the IMDb had no record of it.
