"You Only Live Twice" (1967)
You Only Live Twice, known as the Japanese bond, is the 5th is the series, and features Sean Connery as Bond-san. Spectre, with the help of a Japanese industrialist, hijacks both an American and a Soviet spacecraft in an attempt to get the superpowers to nuke each other. Bond is sent to find
the truth in time to prevent WW III. He gets a lot of help along the way, most notably from super agent Aki (Akiko Wakabayashi) and her boss, Tiger Tanaka (Tetsuro Tamba), head of intelligence in Japan.
In the opening sequence, Bond's death is staged to give him some breathing room. Lovely Tsai Chin, better known from The World of Susie Wong and Joy Luck Club, helps with the ruse. The first half of the film moves right along, with lots of action and chase scenes. In the second half, Bond is
made into a Japanese and ninja trained, then married to a spy/pearl diver (Mie Hama) to infiltrate the island that is Spectre's headquarters. The second half is slow going, and Spectre's entire space program is a little hard to swallow. Title song was sung by Nancy Sinatra.
Berardinelli and Maltin have this at 2 1/2, and IMDB readers say 6.8/10, or closer to 3 stars. Made for $9.5m, the world-wide gross was $111.6m. I agree with the critics here. It is watchable, but not one of the best in the series.

In case you missed The Honte's update a couple of days ago..here is one of the major additions to his site...Vidcaps of Madonna going topless (links 2 and 3) from the movie "A Certain Sacrifice".
Shot with a super-8 camera and filmed between 1978-1981, this marks the start of Madonna's career as an actress. Lousy movie, but according to The Honte, it's interesting to see a very young Madonna at play. The movie was never released theatrically, but made it's way on to video in 1985 after an unsuccessful attempt by the Material Girl to stop distribution of the movie. From what I gather, this puppy looks like it was a student film/home movie that someone tried to cash in on once Madonna hit it big in the 80's. But still a great, rare find!

Regular viewers may recognize this French porn star by name, and skip these pics. Others may not recognize her at all and decide to pass. Well let me just say that for the sake of nudity, skipping these would be a mistake!
I can hear you out there saying "What? Jr, have you gone mental?" Well the answer to that question is yes, several years ago, but that's beside the point. The reason that you should not skip these is this....there is something very unique about these vidcaps from "L'Empreinte du vice" by ABYS. They are hard core, but that's nothing new. What's new is that these caught my eye right away, and that never happens! After all, I'm a seasoned porn pro.
The big deal is that this movie seems to have some of the best lighting I have ever seen in an X-rated film. A far cry from the usual "Put it where it doesn't belong Vol 26"-shot-on-a-cheap-camcorder-with-a-budget-of-$500.00(including the talent)-junk. When I looked it up in the IMDb, it seems that my suspicions may be correct. A user who has actually seen the movie, recommends it highly for just that reason...great lighting. He also pointed out that it's softer than most hard cores, and that the sex scenes seem to have been created with great imagination.
The dude also insists that it's a must own, but I need to see it first before I can offer that kind of an endorsement.
