Sexo de los Ángeles is a
drama where Bruno (Llorenç
González) is watching a
dance routine where his
wallet is stolen and he is
assaulted, but the wallet
is retrieved by Rai
(Álvaro Cervantes). They
get to know each other and
become friends. Bruno is
in a long term
relationship with Carla
(Astrid Bergès-Frisbey), a
photographer. Things are
going well between them
until one day she walks in
on Bruno and Rai having
sex. Carla's world is torn
apart and eventually she
tries to move on, but
Bruno convinces her that
the relationship is worth
saving and that he still
has feelings for Rai.
Carla reluctantly agrees
that Bruno can be with
both her and Rai if he
sees him away from her.
Then Carla gets to know
Rai and a thing develops
between them. They decide
to give this love triangle
a go, but will it last?
Interesting look at an
actual love triangle
instead of those "two men
go after one woman" fake
love triangles. Still
can't help itself with the
highly contrived ending,
but apart from that it's a
fairly convincing look at
three people in love with
each other. Not a bad
little movie at all.
